Highlight Films’ archive has been enriched with a real treasure - very rare footage from 1930-1950 Israel, Palestine and The Middle East.
This footage includes combats from The War of Independence in 1948, Arab troops in Palestine,British military forces in Palestine ( watch a trailer), The Declaration of the State of Isarel, farmers’ lives in the Gallile before 1948, new immigrants arriving to Israel in the 40’s, Tel Aviv, general views of israel (watch a trailer), the Old City of Jerusalem including Al Aqsa (watch a trailer), Israeli and Palestinian habitants in the early 40’s, footage from Egypt and Jordan (watch a trailer) and much more.
Also, we now have footage of The First Intifada ( watch a trailer) against Israeli military occupation, fantastic shots from the city of Gaza and its refugee camps, citizens, buildings, fishermen and more.
