The Highlight Films production team has completed the second phase of “Israel on HD”. After filming all of Israel from the air, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, The Dead Sea, Eilat and more, we are proud to announce that our High Definition aerial archive is now complete, and includes beautiful footage of Israel, south to north, east to west. We have completed all logging and will have screeners up both online and on DVD by mid-May. On phase III, beginning on May 3, we will film specific locations per demand and begin filming low altitude footage using both Ultralight gliders and remote controlled helicopters. Highlight Films is offering broadcasters documentary content related to Israel’s 60th anniversary coming up on May 8th, 2008.The content packages include documentary films produced between 1998-2006, documentary films currently in production and films and series currently in development. The Highlight Films’ development team has begun working on a new documentary project: The untold history of terrorism. This documentary series will follow the history of Middle Eastern and European terrorism in the late 60’s and 70’s, as told in first person by people who were involved in either terrorism or fighting it.
The series will be based in part on research work concluded recently, that has not been published yet.

We will be looking for potential co-production partners for this series. European and American producers and broadcasters are invited to contact Noam Shalev for more details.
