Our development team is now working on a special documentary series: “Israel: The Melting Pot” is a six part series following the unique social and cultural processes at work in the Israeli society. Highlight Films will offer the series to broadcasters in the beginning of September 2007, and projected release is around September 2008.

The Library of Congress in Washington, DC will screen Highlight Films‘ documentary “Code Name Bayonet” on September 5, 2007. The documentary, directed by Ron Maiberg and produced by Noam Shalev, will be screened in a program co-sponsored by the Library’s Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division and the Hebrew Language Table in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel.
“Code Name Bayonet” (and the British title: “Munich Operation Bayonet”) is distributed by BBC Worldwide. The film was already transmitted by more than 60 TV stations worldwide.

MyHolyLand.TV - Highlight Films’ new tourist filming venture - is now in operation. From it’s dedicated website (http://www.myholyland.tv/) the MyHolyLand provides video filming services to organized groups arirving for a visit in Israel and the West Bank. In MyHolyLand’s silver and gold packages, a daily video clip of the group’s activities is avilable for viewing online. New in our archive: Superb High Definition archive footage of Jerusalem is now available. The footage was filmed in summer 2007 and includes beauty shots of Jerusalem, including long shots from east and west, interior shots of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, The Wailing Wall, Dome of the Rock and other locations.
